Section 28 (Audio/Video/Entertainment/Connectivity (Service Information)): Camera: Removal: Removal

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to PANEL, TRIM, LIFTGATE, REMOVAL .
Remove the nut (1) that secures the liftgate handle and backup camera assembly to the inside of the liftgate (2).

Remove the four screws (1) that secure the liftgate handle and backup camera assembly (2) to the outside of the liftgate.

Partially remove the liftgate handle and backup camera assembly (4) from the liftgate and disconnect the electrical connectors (1 and 2).
Disconnect the liftgate handle latch cable (3) and remove the liftgate handle and backup camera assembly.
Remove the backup camera from the liftgate handle.
