Section 28 (Audio/Video/Entertainment/Connectivity (Service Information)): Camera: Removal: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to PANEL, TRIM, LIFTGATE, REMOVAL .
- Remove the nut (1) that secures the liftgate handle and backup camera assembly to the inside of the liftgate (2).
- Remove the four screws (1) that secure the liftgate handle and backup camera assembly (2) to the outside of the liftgate.
- Partially remove the liftgate handle and backup camera assembly (4) from the liftgate and disconnect the electrical connectors (1 and 2).
- Disconnect the liftgate handle latch cable (3) and remove the liftgate handle and backup camera assembly.
- Remove the backup camera from the liftgate handle.
