Valve, Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION (EGR) Airflow Control: Installation: Installation

- Clean all gasket sealing surfaces.
- Install a new O-ring seal (1) onto the intake manifold.
- Connect the EGR airflow control valve wire harness connector (1).
- Install the EGR airflow control valve (2). Tighten bolts (1) to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
- Inspect the CAC air tube (2) O-ring seal (1) and replace as necessary.
- Connect the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) air tube (2) to the EGR air flow control valve. Tighten bolts (1) to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
- Install the CAC air tube (1) and securely tighten clamp (2).
- Install the CAC air tube (1) to transaxle (3). Tighten bolt (2) 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
- Install the air cleaner body. .
- Install the engine cover (1).
- Connect the negative battery cable.
