Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the engine cover.
Drain the coolant into a clean container. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Remove the air cleaner housing assembly (1).

Remove the clean air intake hose assembly (2) from the front mount (5) and position aside.

Remove the coolant recovery container return line (1) from the thermostat housing (2).
Remove the return hose (3) from the thermostat housing and position aside.

Remove the thermostat housing mounting bolts (1).
Remove the lower thermostat support brace bolt (5).
