2.0L Diesel

NOTE:
Use coolant on the seals of the thermostat housing so the seals wont become damaged and to help aid in installation.
- Install the thermostat onto the EGR coolant flow control valve (3).
- Install the thermostat housing mounting bolts (1). Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
- Install the lower thermostat support brace bolt (5). Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
- Install the coolant recovery container return line (1).
- Install the upper radiator hose (3) onto the thermostat housing (2).
- Add coolant to the coolant recovery bottle. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Install the clean air intake hose (2).
- Install the air cleaner housing assembly (1).
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Run engine to operating temperature, check for leaks and proper operation.
