NOTE:

Use coolant on the seals of the thermostat housing so the seals wont become damaged and to help aid in installation.

Install the thermostat onto the EGR coolant flow control valve (3).
Install the thermostat housing mounting bolts (1). Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
Install the lower thermostat support brace bolt (5). Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).

Install the coolant recovery container return line (1).
Install the upper radiator hose (3) onto the thermostat housing (2).
Add coolant to the coolant recovery bottle. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .

Install the clean air intake hose (2).

Install the air cleaner housing assembly (1).
Connect the negative battery cable.
Run engine to operating temperature, check for leaks and proper operation.
