2.0L Diesel

  1. Apply MOPAR® thread sealant with PFTE part number 04318034 to sensor threads.
  2. Install the Engine Cooling Temperature (ECT) sensor (2) to cylinder head. Tighten sensor to 11 N.m (97 in. lbs.).
  3. Connect the ECT sensor wire harness connector.
  4. Install the engine cover.
  5. Replace any lost engine coolant. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
