TENSIONER, Belt: Removal: 3.6L

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the air intake system. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL .
- Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, REMOVAL .
- Remove the tensioner assembly from engine front cover.
WARNING:
Because of high spring tension, do not attempt to disassemble automatic tensioner. Unit is serviced as an assembly (except for pulley on tensioner).
