Lamp, Side Repeater: Installation: Lamp

NOTE:
The following procedure applies to either the front side marker lamps used on vehicles manufactured for the domestic market or to the repeater lamps used on vehicles manufactured for the export market. Although the lamps and bulbs are unique, the service procedures are the same.
- Position the front side marker/repeater lamp (4) into the lamp seat in the front fender flare reinforcement bracket (5). Be certain that the integral hook feature on the lamp housing is engaged in the slot on one side of the seat and that the two integral latch features on the lamp housing are fully engaged.
- Reassemble and reinstall the front fender flare (6), reinforcement bracket, wheel liner (2) and side marker/repeater lamp to the vehicle as a unit. Refer to MOLDING, WHEEL OPENING, INSTALLATION .
- Reconnect the ends of the jumper wire harness (3) to the front side marker/repeater lamp bulb socket and to the engine wire harness.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Reconnect the battery negative cable.
