Lamp - Domestic

  1. Check to be certain that the four spring nuts (2) are in good condition and properly installed in the rear body sheet metal (5).
  2. Position the rear license plate bracket and lamp unit (3) to the rear body sheet metal.
  3. Reconnect the body wire harness connector (1) to the connector on the back of the bracket and lamp unit housing.
  4. Align the mounting holes of the bracket and lamp unit to the four spring nuts.
  5. Install and tighten the four screws (4) that secure the bracket and lamp unit to the rear body sheet metal. Tighten the screws to 1.5 N.m (15 in. lbs.).
  6. Reinstall the license plate onto the bracket.
  7. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
