Lamp, Fog, Rear: Installation: Lamp

NOTE:

The following procedure applies only to vehicles manufactured for export markets. Rear fog lamps are not available in vehicles manufactured for domestic markets.

  1. From the face of the rear bumper, position the rear fog lamp into the receptacle on the outboard end of the rear bumper cover (1).
  2. Engage the two mounting studs on the back of the lamp housing through the holes in the retainer cap (3) on the back of the rear bumper cover.
  3. Install and tighten the two nuts (2) that secure the lamp to the retainer cap. Tighten the nut to 1.5 N.m (14 in. lbs.).
  4. Reconnect the take out and connector (4) of the rear bumper wire harness to the bulb socket on the back of the lamp.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
