Rear Wheel Stud

CAUTION:

Do not use a hammer to remove wheel studs.

  1. Raise and support vehicle.
  2. Remove wheel and tire assembly.

  3. Remove brake caliper and rotor. Refer to ROTOR, BRAKE, REMOVAL .
  4. Remove stud (2) from hub with Remover (special tool #8677, Remover, Ball Joint) (1).

  5. Remove the stud (1) from between the hub/bearing and brake shoes (2)
