Pulley, Idler: Installation: 2.8L

  1. Install lower idler pulley (2). Tighten bolt to 45 N.m (33 ft. lbs.).
  2. Install the upper idler pulley (4). Tighten bolt to 45 N.m (33 ft. lbs.).
  3. Install the serpentine belt (1). Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
