Gas Exhaust Pipe

Install the exhaust pipe (14) onto the exhaust pipe (11).
Install the exhaust isolators (13, 15).
Make sure the exhaust pipe/exhaust system is aligned and has the proper clearance. The minimum clearance is 25 mm (1 inch). Make the necessary adjustments, if needed.
Tighten the exhaust pipe clamp nuts (12) to 50 N.m (37 ft. lbs.).
Install the exhaust muffler. Refer to MUFFLER, EXHAUST, INSTALLATION .
Start the engine and inspect for leaks. Repair exhaust leaks as necessary.
Check the exhaust system for contact with the body panels. Make the necessary adjustments, if needed.
