Tie Rod End

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
  3. loosen the end clamp bolt (2).
  4. Remove the nut (3) at the steering knuckle.
  5. Separate the tie rod from the knuckle using special tool (special tool #9360, Remover, Ball Joint) separator.
    NOTE:

    Count the number of turns when removing the tie rod end, This will give a good starting point when reassembling and toe adjustment.

  6. Unthread the tie rod end from the tube.
