Drag Link Tie Rod (Pitman Arm Side)

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.

  2. Remove the drag link nut at the pitman arm.
  3. Separate the drag link (3) from the pitman arm using special tool (special tool #9360, Remover, Ball Joint) separator (2).

    NOTE:

    Count the number of turns when removing the tie rod end, This will give a good starting point when reassembling and toe adjustment.

  4. Loosen the nut and bolt (1) for the drag link adjustment sleeve.
  5. Unthread the tie rod end from the tube.
