Hinge, Hood: Removal: Removal

Remove the cowl top panel (3). Refer to COVER, COWL PANEL, REMOVAL .

NOTE:
It is not necessary to remove the hood to replace the hood hinges. Hood hinges can be replaced one at a time.
Support the hood with a suitable device.
Remove the hinge to body bolts (2).

Using a grease pencil or equivalent, mark location of hood hinges (1) on hood (3) to aid installation.
Remove the hinge to hood bolts (2) and remove the hinge (1).
