The EMCC VFS Solenoid is used to control the duty cycle of the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC). The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors the voltage on the EMCC VFS Solenoid Control circuit. If the PCM detects a failure for 2 consecutive trips, the DTC is set.
