Articulated Eyeball Pod Unit

- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- Remove the LED dome/reading lamp unit. Refer to LAMP, DOME, READING, REMOVAL .
- Using a trim stick or another suitable wide flat-bladed tool, gently pry the pod (1) upward far enough to disengage the pivot pin on one side of the pod from the pivot socket of the pod receptacle.
- Lift the pod out of its receptacle within the dome/reading lamp housing.
- On rear LED dome/reading lamp units only, from the top of the lamp housing, disconnect the pod pigtail wire connector from the fixed auxiliary LED lamp printed circuit board in the center of the lamp.
