3.6L Engine

NOTE:

Before proceeding, refer to WARNING .

  1. Siphon as much fluid as possible from the power steering fluid reservoir.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  3. Remove the pressure hose (2) at the pump (1).

  4. Unscrew the tube nut (3), then remove the pressure hose (4) at the steering gear.

  5. Remove the screws (1) securing the power steering hose routing clamps (2) to the rear of the crossmember.
  6. Remove the power steering pressure hose from the vehicle.
