2.0L Diesel

NOTE:

Use coolant on the seals of the thermostat housing so the seals wont become damaged and to help aid in installation.

Install the thermostat onto the EGR coolant flow control valve (3).
Install the thermostat housing. Tighten the bolts (1) to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).

Install the upper radiator hose (3) onto the thermostat housing (2).
Install the coolant hose (1) to the thermostat housing (2).
Fill the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Connect the negative battery cable.
Run the engine to operating temperature, check for leaks and proper operation.
