Clean the gasket sealing surfaces.
Using a NEW gasket (2) install the water pump (3) with onto the cylinder head (1). Tighten the bolts (4) to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).

Install the timing belt (3).
Evacuate air and refill cooling system. Refer to PUMP, WATER, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Connect the negative battery cable.
Check cooling system for leaks. Refer to LEAK TESTING .
