Nozzle, Washer: Description: Headlamp
Vehicles equipped with the optional headlamp washer system have two fixed headlamp washer nozzles (1), one secured to the front fascia beneath each front lamp unit.
Each nozzle includes two orifices (1) to ensure complete headlamp lens coverage by the fluid streams emitted from the nozzle. The fixed body of the molded plastic nozzle is located below the front fascia. An integral mounting bezel (2) is secured by two integral latch features (3) within the mounting hole in the front fascia. A large diameter high pressure washer fluid supply hose from the dedicated headlamp washer pump/motor unit is routed to the nozzle, where it is secured by a quick connect fitting to the nipple fitting (4) at the base of the nozzle.
The headlamp washer nozzle cannot be adjusted or repaired and, if ineffective or damaged, the entire nozzle and mounting bezel must be replaced with a new unit.
