Blade, Wiper: Installation: Rear

  1. Lift the rear wiper arm pivot cap (2) upward to allow the rear wiper arm to be raised off of the glass.
    NOTE:

    The rear wiper arm cannot be raised to its over-center hinge position unless the pivot cover is raised first.

  2. Lift the rear wiper arm to its over-center hinge position and off of the liftgate glass.

  3. Position the rear wiper blade (1) with the pivot pin (2) aligned with the opening of the receptacle (4) on the tip of the wiper arm (3).
  4. Using hand pressure, press the wiper blade pivot pin firmly and evenly into the wiper arm receptacle until it snaps into place.
  5. Lower the wiper blade onto the glass and snap the pivot cover back into place.
