Switch, Liftgate Release: Removal: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- Remove the handle and light bar unit (1) from the liftgate outer panel. Refer to HANDLE, EXTERIOR, LIFTGATE, REMOVAL .
- Working from the inside of the handle and light bar unit, depress the two latch features (3) of the liftgate lock and unlock switch (2).
- While holding the latch features depressed, push the switch out through the outside of the switch mounting hole in the handle and light bar unit.
