Liftgate Opening

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the rear fascia from the vehicle. Refer to FASCIA, REAR, REMOVAL .
  3. Disconnect the wire harness connector (4) from the connector receptacle for the Low Frequency (LF) antenna (2) on the lower liftgate opening cross member.
  4. Remove the two screws (3) that secure the LF antenna to the two plastic nuts (1) in the cross member.
  5. Remove the LF antenna from the vehicle.
