2.4L 1/1 Exhaust

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor wire harness connector.
  3. Remove the heat shield retaining nut.

  4. Pull the heat shield out to uncover the CMP sensor.
  5. Remove the CMP sensor mounting stud-bolt.

  6. Remove the CMP sensor.
