Diagnostic Test

VERIFY THE DTC IS ACTIVE

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on vehicle work order.
Is the DTC active at this time?

Yes
- Perform the U0100-00-Lost Communication with ECM/PCM diagnostic procedure. Refer to U0100-00-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH ECM/PCM .
No
- Perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure. Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS .
