2.0L Turbo Diesel

  1. Position the generator into the vehicle.
  2. Install the lower generator mounting retainer (3).
  3. Install the upper generator mounting retainer (2).
  4. Tighten retainers (1, 2 and 3) to 70 N.m (52 Ft. Lbs).

  5. Connect the generator field connector (1) and position the B+ cable (3) to the generator stud.
  6. Install the B+ retainer (2).

    Tighten to 10 N.m (89 In. Lbs).

  7. Install the right intermediate shaft. Refer to INSTALLATIONINSTALLATION .
  8. Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION .
  9. Install the passenger side splash shields.
  10. Install the passenger side front wheels.

  11. Install the retainers from the belly pan to the side splash shields (2).
  12. Install the rear push pin (1).

  13. Install the front belly pan front retainers (1).
  14. Connect the negative battery cable.
