Section 104 (Charging System (Service Information)): Description: Description

The charging system consists of:
- Generator
- Electronic Voltage Regulator (EVR) circuitry within the Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
- Battery (refer to the BATTERY SYSTEM - SERVICE INFORMATION for information)
- Inlet Air Temperature (calculated battery temperature) (If equipped)
- Voltmeter (refer to the INSTRUMENT CLUSTER - SERVICE INFORMATION for information if equipped)
- Wiring harness and connections (refer to the appropriate Wiring information)
- Accessory drive belt (refer to the ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM for more information)
