Diagnostic Test

CHECK INTERMITTENT CONDITION
- Turn the ignition on.
- Using the scan tool, record and erase the DTCs.
- Turn the ignition off and wait 30 seconds.
- Turn the ignition on and attempt to start the engine.
- If the engine started, wait 10 seconds then turn the ignition off.
- Turn the ignition on.
- Using the scan tool, read the active DTCs.
Does the scan tool display; B1A7B-01-IMMOBILIZER ANTENNA (KIN) - GENERAL ELECTRICAL FAILURE?
Yes
- Replace the Keyless Ignition Node in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, KEYLESS IGNITION NODE, REMOVAL .
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Test complete. If the DTC ever repeats, replace the Keyless Ignition Node in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, KEYLESS IGNITION NODE, REMOVAL .
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
