Tube, Fuel Tank Filler: Installation: Fwd

1 - Fuel door housing assembly

2 - Fuel filler tube

Install fuel filler tube (2) to the fuel door housing assembly (1).

1 - Canister filter line quick connect fitting

2 - Christmas Tree Clip

3 - Recirculation line quick connect fitting

4 - Fuel filer tube hose clamp

5 - Fuel filer tube

Install fuel filler tube (5) to the fuel tank. Tighten hose clamp (4) to 3 N.m (27 in. lbs.).
Install the recirculation line quick connect fitting (3) to the fuel tank. Refer to FITTING, QUICK CONNECT .
Align and insert the Christmas tree clip (2).

Install the canister filter line quick connect fitting (1). Refer to FITTING, QUICK CONNECT .

Install filler tube mounting bracket (2) and bolt (1) to the body mount (3). Tighten to 12 N.m (97 in. lbs.).
Install the inner splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, REAR WHEELHOUSE, INSTALLATION .
Install fuel cap.
Connect negative battery cable, tighten nut to 5 N.m (45 in. lbs.).
