Diagnostic Test

ACTIVE DTC
1. Ignition on, engine not running.
2. With the scan too, select View PCM DTCs.
  Is the DTC Active at this time?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
U0141-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH IPM (FCM/TIPM) ALSO ACTIVE
1. With the scan too, select View DTCs.
  Is the U0141-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH IPM (FCM/TIPM) also set?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the U0141-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH IPM (FCM/TIPM) diagnostic procedure. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS and perform the STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS diagnostic procedure.
