  1. Apply a length of masking tape on the body (2) and hood (1), parallel to the top edge of the nameplate to use as a guide, if necessary.

  2. Apply a length of masking tape on the body (1), parallel to the top edge of the nameplate to use as a guide, if necessary.
    NOTE:

    Exterior nameplates are attached to body panels with adhesive tape.

  3. If temperature is below 21°C (70°F) warm emblem with a heat lamp or gun. Do not exceed 52°C (120°F) when heating emblem.
    CAUTION:

    Use care when separating the emblem from the body surface to avoid scratching the paint.

  4. Using a trim stick (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, behind the emblem to separate the adhesive backing from the body.
  5. Clean adhesive residue from body with MOPAR® Super Clean solvent or equivalent.
