Bulb - Headlamp - Export
CAUTION:
Do not contaminate the bulb glass by touching it with your fingers or by allowing it to contact other oily surfaces. Shortened bulb life will result.
- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- Remove the headlamp unit (1) from the mounting collar (3). Refer to UNIT, HEADLAMP, REMOVAL .
- Remove the rubber headlamp boot seal (2) from the back of the headlamp housing and the headlamp bulb base (4).
- Removal of the boot seal from the headlamp unit housing will reveal the wire retainer for the headlamp bulb.
- Pinch the two ends of the wire retainer together and disengage them from the hooks that secure them against the bulb flange on the headlamp housing.
- Pivot the wire retainer up off of the flange of the headlamp bulb base and out of the way.
- Pull the bulb straight out of the keyed opening in the headlamp housing.
