Diagnostic Test
CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
NOTE:
Diagnose and repair all LIN Bus related DTCs before performing this test procedure.
- Turn the ignition on.
- Inspect the Left Heated Seat switch for anything that would cause it to stay or stick in a pushed position.
- Press and release the Left Heated Seat switch several times and then wait 20 seconds.
- With a scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?
Yes
- Replace the Switch Bank in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
No
- Test complete, the condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals, and correct pin tension.
