Power Lock Switch - Removal






REMOVAL





1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Using a trim stick or another suitable wide flat-bladed tool, carefully pry between the front door inside trim panel (1) and the top edge of the power lock switch mounting bezel (2) to disengage the two snap clips from the opening in the trim panel.
3. Pull the mounting bezel and power lock switch (3) unit away from the trim panel far enough to access and disconnect the door wire harness connector from the switch connector receptacle.





4. Remove the two screws (4) that secure the power lock switch (3) to the back side of the mounting bezel (1).
5. Remove the switch from the bezel.
