REMOVAL

MANUAL TRANSMISSION





1. Raise and support the vehicle Maintenance.
2. Using a suitable jack stand and a block of wood positioned under the transfer case, raise the transmission until the weight is off of the isolator.
3. Remove the skid plate and transmission crossmember (7) Crossmember - Removal.





4. Remove the nuts and the rear engine mount isolator (1).
5. If required, remove the bolts and the rear engine mount bracket (2).

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION





1. Raise and support the vehicle Maintenance.
2. Using a suitable jack stand and a block of wood positioned under the transfer case, raise the transmission until the weight is off of the isolator.
3. Remove the skid plate and transmission crossmember (7) Crossmember - Removal.





4. Remove the nuts and the rear engine mount isolator (2).
5. On 4x4 vehicles If required, remove the bolts and the rear engine mount bracket (1).





6. On 4x2 vehicles if required, remove four bolts (1) and the rear engine mount bracket (2).
