Satellite Antenna - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. If equipped, remove the complete hard top (1, 2 and 3) Removable Top - Removal.





3. If equipped, fold the soft top (1) down to expose the passenger upper B-pillar support.





4. Disconnect the antenna connector (1).
5. Remove the antenna mounting retainer.






NOTE: Antenna removed to show location of plastic tabs.

6. From inside the vehicle, and using a flat bladed tool, depress one of the two plastic retaining tabs on the antenna stud (1). Push up on one side of the antenna stud and depress the other plastic retaining tab.
7. Once the antenna stud is free, depress the small plastic tab on the locator stud (1) and antenna mounting post (1) and remove the antenna.
