Shift Lever - Installation

INSTALLATION

SHIFTER LEVER





1. Position the manual transmission shifter lever assembly (2) onto the transmission shift shaft (1) and install the bolt (3).
2. Tighten the bolt (3) to 33 Nm (24.5 ft. lbs.).

SHIFTER BOOTS





1. Position the inner shifter boot (2) over the shift lever (1) and full seat the boot over the transmission shift shaft opening (3).





2. Position the outer shifter boot (2) over the shift lever and fully seat the boot onto the center console (1).

SHIFTER KNOB





1. Install the shift knob (3) onto the shift lever (4) and firmly push the shift knob (3) down a audible click should be heard when the shift knob (3) is seated in position.
