Axle Shaft Seal - Installation

INSTALLATION

Special Tools:










1. Remove any sealer remaining from original seals.
2. Install oil seals with Discs (2) and Turnbuckle (1). Tighten tool until disc bottoms in housing.





3. Install differential (2) into housing (1).





4. Install hub bearings (1) and axles (2).





5. Install hub bearing bolts (1) through steering knuckle (2) and tighten to 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.).
6. Install wheel speed sensor.
7. Install brake components.
