Upper Intermediate Shaft

UPPER INTERMEDIATE SHAFT





1. Install the intermediate shaft (4) to studs at the cowl.
2. Install the two mounting nuts (1) and tighten to 13 Nm (115 in. lbs).
3. Install the lower intermediate shaft coupler (3) to the upper intermediate shaft (4).
4. Install the pinch bolt (2) and tighten to 49 Nm (36 ft. lbs.).





5. Install the upper shaft coupler (2) to the steering column (4).
6. Install and tighten the pinch bolt (1) to 49 Nm (36 ft. lbs.).

7. Unlock the steering wheel.
8. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
