A. Inspect the Soft Top

With the soft top in the up position, shine a florescent shop light along the outside surface of the soft top along the number 2 and number 3 roof bow elbows while looking at the inside of the soft top for light to shine through pin holes and/or tears in the soft top material (Figures 1 and 2).

NOTE:
The inspection must be done on the right and left side of the soft top bows.

> If pin holes and/or tears are found in any of the four soft top locations, continue with Section B. - Replace Soft Top.

> If no pin holes and/or tears are found in any of the four soft top locations, continue with Section C. - Install Roof Bow Shields.
