U110A-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH SCM (SAS)

- When Monitored:
Ignition run time is greater than 1 second. Battery voltage between 9 and 16 Volts. Engine run time greater than three seconds.

- Set Condition:
The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) doesn't receive a Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) message over the CAN C circuit for seven consecutive seconds. The circuit is continuously monitored. One Trip fault.

ACTIVE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
1. Ignition on, engine not running.
2. With a scan tool, View PCM DTCs.

Is the DTC Active at this time?

Yes

- Testing and Inspection Perform the U110A-Lost Communication with SCM (SAS) diagnostic procedure.

No

- Stored Lost Communication DTCs Perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
