LAMP, Side Repeater: Removal: Lamp
NOTE:
Repeater lamps are used only on vehicles manufactured for certain markets where these lamps are required.
- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.NOTE:
The same repeater lamp is used on both sides of the vehicle. Regardless of which side of the vehicle the lamp is on, when properly oriented the fixed hook tab integral to the back of the lamp housing is on the right-hand side of the lamp and the latch feature is on the left-hand side.
- Using hand pressure, press the right edge of the repeater lamp lens/housing (3) toward the left against the spring pressure of the latch feature, then pull the right edge of the lamp outward far enough to disengage the hook tab from the right side of the mounting hole in the fender (1).
- Pull the lamp out from the fender far enough to access and disconnect the wire harness connector (2) from the bulb socket on the back of the lamp lens/housing.
- Remove the repeater lamp from the fender.
