Oil Pressure Switch - Removal






REMOVAL

NOTE: If the oil pressure switch is removed, it must be replaced with a new switch.





1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the front skid plate, if equipped.
4. Remove the splash shield from the right side frame rail Splash Shield - Removal.
5. Remove the accessory drive belt Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Removal.
6. Remove the three bolts (2) and reposition the A/C compressor (1).





7. Disconnect the oil pressure switch electrical connector.
8. Remove the oil pressure switch using Oil Pressure Socket C-4597 (1) or equivalent and discard the switch.
