INSTALLATION






NOTE: Clean all propeller shaft bolts and apply Mopar(R) Lock AND Seal Adhesive or equivalent to the threads before installation.

NOTE: Inspect propeller shaft boot for damage and replace if necessary.

1. Install propeller shaft (1) on transfer case (2) or transmission (3) with reference marks aligned. Install flange bolts and tighten to 108 Nm (80 ft. lbs.).





2. Install propeller shaft (1) on pinion flange (2) with reference marks aligned. Install flange bolts and tighten to 108 Nm (80 ft. lbs.).

CAUTION: Failure to follow these instructions may result in a driveline vibration.
