The charging system consists of:
- Generator
- Decoupler Pulley (If equipped)
- Electronic Voltage Regulator (EVR) circuitry within the Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
- Ignition switch (refer to IGNITION CONTROL - SERVICE INFORMATION for information)
- Battery (refer to BATTERY for information)
- Inlet Air Temperature
- Voltmeter (refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER - SERVICE INFORMATION for information if equipped)
- Wiring harness and connections (refer to the appropriate wiring information )
- Accessory drive belt (refer to COOLING for more information)
- Clutch Pulley (If equipped)
- Electronic Voltage Regulator (EVR) circuitry internally regulated for the diesel application.
