SENSOR, Dynamics: Installation: Installation

NOTE:
The Occupancy Restraint Module (ORC) (4) is directly behind the vehicle dynamics sensor (2). Care must be taken while working near the ORC to avoid jostling or bumping the module.
- Connect the wiring harness connector (3) to the dynamics sensor (2).
- Install the dynamics sensor (2) over the studs mounted to the floor pan tunnel.
- Install the two mounting nuts (1). Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).
- Move carpeting back into original location.
- Install the shifter housing. Refer to Body/Interior/HOUSING, Shifter - Installation .
- Connect the battery negative cable to the battery post. It is important that this be performed properly. Refer to Electrical/Battery System - Standard Procedure .
- Perform the Verification Test and clear any faults. Refer to DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Antilock Brake (ABS) - Standard Procedure .
