Diesel Engine

- Clean all sealing surfaces.
- Position and install thermostat housing (2). Tighten bolts to 9N.m (80 lbs.in.).NOTE: Inspect condition of all clamps and hoses, replace as necessary.
- Connect coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
- Install generator. Refer to Electrical - Engine Systems/Charging/GENERATOR - Installation .
- Install engine cover. Refer to Engine - Installation .
- Connect negative battery cable.
- Fill coolant system to proper level with appropriate coolant mixture. See Standard Procedure .
- Start engine and inspect for leaks.
