BELT, Serpentine: Removal: Diesel

  1. Raise vehicle on hoist.
  2. Remove belt splash shield.
  3. Using a wrench, rotate belt tensioner (8) clockwise until belt (6) can be removed from power steering pump pulley (4). Gently, release spring tension on tensioner (8).
  4. Remove accessory drive belt (2).
