LAMP, Park and Turn Signal: Removal: Bulb

- Turn the steering wheel to move the front of the wheel and tire toward the opposite side of the vehicle from the park/turn signal lamp being serviced.
- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- Remove the three screws (1) that secure the outboard side of the front wheel house splash shield (4) to the front fascia (2).
- Remove the push pin fastener (3) that secures the inboard side of the splash shield to the front end sheet metal.
- Remove the two push pin fasteners that secure the forward edge of the splash shield to the front fascia closure panel.
- Fold the front of the splash shield rearward far enough to access the back of the front fascia.
- From behind the front fascia (3) disconnect the engine compartment wire harness connector (2) from the park/turn signal bulb socket (1) connector receptacle.
- Firmly grasp the bulb socket on the back of the park turn signal lamp housing (4) and rotate it counterclockwise about 30 degrees to unlock it.
- Pull the socket and bulb straight out from the keyed opening in the housing.
- Pull the base of the bulb straight out of the socket.
